School of Worship

The theme of the School of Worship is preparing a place for His Presence. The teaching will be done in English. The subject matter centers on Ministering to the Lord, Living in the Eternal, and God’s Heart for Israel. The days and evenings will include teaching with time to reflect and respond; times of worship and ministering to the Lord; times of prayer; extended times of quiet alone with the Lord; and fellowship and practical service with each other and staff.

Why come to a School in Israel? Israel is where the Lord has placed His Name. From here the Word of the Lord goes out to the world. (Is. 2:3) Those who join themselves to the Lord in coming up to His holy mountain (Zion) will be joyful in His house of prayer, and their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted here on His altar (Is. 56:6-8). In His Land there is an impartation of His Spirit and heart that is unique to any other place on earth.

Why come to a School at Emmaus Way? There is a unique fire of purification and preparation to be experienced here in the Land. The fire of the Lord is in Zion, and His furnace is in Jerusalem; purification and refining (Is. 31:9). Over the past years He has taught us as a team much concerning both spiritual and natural matters relating to preparing Him a dwelling place. Consequently, as a result of the anointing on Israel for worship and our personal experiences, for those whose hearts are seeking to be a tabernacle for the Presence of the Lord and/or to establish a physical tabernacle for His abiding Presence, we believe that we have both teaching and impartation to give out.

Why come to Israel? The Lord is longing to return to the Land. He waits to hear His people call out to Him. As your vision and burden for this grows, as you yourself come into greater alignment with His heart and purpose, your presence and worship in Israel will affect a change in the spiritual atmosphere and actually hasten the day of His coming. So in the end you will also bring an impartation to Israel.

We are located in a village in the hills of Judea, about a 30-minute drive from the center of Jerusalem. It is somewhat remote and public transportation is sparse. There are two separate two-bedroom apartments for men and women with two bunk beds (four beds) in each bedroom. (We also have a single bedroom apartment available for married couples.) There will likely be others sharing a bedroom with you. Each apartment has two bathrooms, a living/kitchen area, laundry facilities, and overlooks the hills. There is a dedicated Tabernacle for worship which is available 24/7.

The suggested donation of $350.00 is applied to the cost of housing and food. We have elected not to have a set fee for the school itself but ask each participant to pray about what to leave as an offering.

At present our staff and vehicle situation makes it difficult to pick people up at the airport, though it is possible if need be. Depending on the hour of arrival we can be reached by train from the airport to a location near us. A taxi cost about $40 US and could be shared if others are arriving around the same time.

On confirmation of your coming to the School, we will give you contact information for our travel agent, who will have reserved spaces to purchase for a connecting flight to Tel Aviv.
