Dear Praying Friends and Tent Pegs*,
In our last regular letter, we shared that when the Esther House project began, the responsibility to cover the costs of maintaining the building fell to another one of the partners. When the Spirit brought this to mind, it was with the sense that in the realm of the spirit, as a result of the broken agreement, in essence, something had been -- is being -- stolen form us. A few days later the following message came over the net:
The enemy has resources tied up that are illegally held. This situation has been protracted, and some resources have been illegally held for generations. There are untold millions of dollars, as well as inheritances, buildings and land, concepts and ideas, key relationships, businesses, etc., that are included. The next ninety days are key to releasing these things. For the next ninety days, violent prayer must go forth in the heavenlies, calling for release. (The ninety-day period is from January 23 to April 17th). The hands of the givers have been robbed, and these resources are needed NOW for what is just ahead. The givers have a heart to give, but their hands have become empty. It is crucial during this time that leaders stand in the gap on behalf of those who are under their stewardship. The authority of the leaders must be combined with the prayers of the givers to see the release of the resources. The kind of prayer that must go forth is different. It can't be the spineless "If it be thy will...." prayer. It must be strong, it must be Word-based, and it must be corporate, as the enemy will not willingly let go of his grip on these things. Corporate fasting will play a role in this, as the corporate anointing is needed to bring the release.
As a result of what had just brought to our awareness concerning our own state, this really got our attention. After some days of seeking the Lord, we believe that we have gotten a word on how to respond. Here is what we have received: The spirit of this world, which concerns mammon, is involved if not responsible. To have authority in this battle we need to go through a time of specific preparation and cleansing. This is not just to prepare us for an individual battle, but to bring us into a new way of living that will allow the Lord greater freedom to move through us. The Spirit of the Lord directed us to the book of Daniel. When Daniel understood that the desolations of Jerusalem and captivity in Babylon would be for seventy years, he set his face to seek the Lord and repent on behalf of his people. His lifestyle was already one of not defiling himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies. In that moment, he mourned for three weeks, eating no wine, no meat, and no pleasant food. He was praying as the time had come for the word of the Lord to be fulfilled concerning the release of the house of Israel from Babylonian captivity. The demonic opposition kept the answer from coming for three weeks.
We know that God has provided for and specifically appointed all the provision necessary for all He has declared to be built, established, and maintained. The enemy has blocked the channel. This is true for us and for the Body in general. By the anointing of the Spirit of God, in the hour of His choosing, we have the power to break the dam of demonic opposition and release God’s blessings stored up for us.
Starting today, February 24th, we have instituted a Daniel Fast. We will also be gathering together every day from 8-9 AM for a time of radical, violent declaration and prayer against this particular illegal enemy action. This will continue until March 17th.
Now...you remember that for the last forty days of 2004, we met for worship from 4-6 AM for a breakthrough in the spiritual atmosphere covering Emmaus Way and Esther House. Those days culminated with a visit from a team of German friends from Tubingen coming to stand with us and put their shoulder to the battering ram. They brought a message and ministry that released a wave of cleansing into our midst from the effects of generational iniquity and witchcraft. Everyone on the team was touched.
Well, beloved, amazing amazing amazing! God is really up to something! Without any pre-planning or contrivance on our part, on March 17th, the 21st and last day of our fast, according to a plan made months ago, another team (of about thirty) from TOS in Tubingen is scheduled to arrive at the Worship Center in Tel Aviv. This time they are coming to fulfill a vision they’d received to have an extended time of worship in a strategic place in the land. This gathering will involve Israeli ministries from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Tiberius and Haifa along with the group from Germany and worshippers from Ireland. We will be together worshipping for a period of about thirty hours. (Included in the mix are four full worship teams). We will not be taking shifts or planning anything. We’ll all be there and ready to enter in during the whole time.
We think that the dynamics of all that is coming together is in itself notable, but the addition of this prophetic word takes it to another level. Let us add the thought that one of the blockages to the release of blessing is the lack of unity in the Land. Such a coming together of different ministries cannot help but affect the unity in the Land and give us greater authority to stand against the plans of the enemy. What a day!
So beloved friends and partners, we are writing to enlist your help. As the Lord would give vision and strength, would you push along with us?

Thank you for praying for Suuqiina, Qaumaniq, and Derrick. The surgery proceeded well and Derrick was released from the hospital a week sooner than the original estimate of the doctors. Praise the Lord! Qaumaniq and he will be returning to Nashville in two weeks for his recuperation. Please pray for his complete and unhindered recovery and for Qaumaniq’s health and strength, as well as for Suuqiina’s, as he ministers without Qaumaniq by his side for the remainder of this trip. May God be glorified and the enemies plans be thwarted!
