Our Purpose

For decades many believers all over the world have prayed for Israel and given sacrificially to build God’s work in the Land.  Today the Holy Spirit is calling believers from the nations of the world to wait on the Lord in Israel to incarnate His will and rhema word in this pivotal and crucial moment in world history.  We believe that the release of the gifts and anointings of the nations, in Israel, in the presence of the principalities, powers, and demonic rulers presently converging over the Land, is a key element in preparing the way for the Lord’s return.

Essentially, the Emmaus Way Ministry Center exists to encourage and enable those seeking to minister to the Lord’s heart.

Location

The Center is in the Judean hills near Beit Shemesh, 30 minutes from central Jerusalem and 50 minutes from Tel Aviv by car.  We are accessible via limited public transportation, but if your plan is for coming and going, a vehicle is more convenient and therefore is highly recommended.

Situation

Nes Harim is a small, peaceful rural village (moshav) surrounded by nature and away from the spiritual intensity of city life. It is a good place to tune into God’s heartbeat.  Also, our central location makes most of the country only a day trip away.

Facilities

There are four individual apartments of varying sizes (one, two, and three bedroom) each fully furnished and equipped with linens, towels, and kitchen appliances.

There are two separate rooms for gathering and ministry…a prayer “cave” and an upper room overlooking the Judean hills.  Each space is equipped with a keyboard, an acoustic guitar, and a variety of percussion implements. 

Three units have proper beds for eight and one for two, totaling 26. Depending on the situation, cots and couches can make place for more.

Services

The apartments have wireless internet access.  Use of a computer in our office is also possible during working hours. 

Two of the apartments have their own washers and dryers and two have access to external units.

There is a small convenience store on the moshav, a small number of shops within seven kilometers (3+ miles), and a larger center with a supermarket within twelve kilometers (7+ miles).  We are able to help those without vehicles with necessary shopping.

Guests are responsible for providing their own meals. (We will provide food for the first breakfast).

Financial Policy

As a non-profit ministry we do not have a set fee as such.  We suggest a contribution of $25 or 20 Euro per night per person.

Acceptance Criterion

Inasmuch as the Center is set up to be a place prepared for the Presence of the Lord, we bear a responsibility to maintain a spiritual atmosphere respectful to the Holy Spirit and focused on the concerns of God for the spiritual issues at hand.  Consequently, for the sake of guests here with a sense of mission, we are generally not able to accommodate vacationers.  Exceptions are on a situation-by-situation basis.

Programs and Possibilities

The facilities are fully available for use according to a group's schedule and needs.  Guests are welcome to independently arrange and direct their time at the Center.  According to the desires of a group and by the leading of the Spirit, we at Emmaus Way are available for teaching on various topics related to worship, Israel, the new wineskin, the One New Man, the signs of the times, and others.

As we are located on the edge of a nature reserve, walking trails and camping areas are literally right outside the door.
